We have conducted
Environmental Monitoring for a variety of clients when this service has
been required or recommended in permits or letters of advice from
environmental agencies, or stated in Environmental Management
Plans (EMPs) developed for activities that have the potential to adversely
effect the environment.
The main
objectives of environmental monitoring has been to
ensure that employees of all contractors and sub-contractors are educated
and knowledgeable toward all environmental concerns and that appropriate
mitigative measures and emergency responses are in place during operations.
We are
fully equipped for, and have frequently conducted fish salvages in
conjunction with environmental monitoring to help ensure that impacts on
fish are limited during in-stream works.
During
environmental monitoring, we are glad to assist with the project operations
while always ensuring that EMPs are successfully implemented, that
environmental conditions are well documented during construction
activities, and that emergency procedures are prepared prior to work and
facilitated when necessary. We also provide field assessments following
completion of some projects to ensure that mitigative measures and
restorative efforts have been successful.
